Welcome back readers! Today’s article will be focused on e-juice. The fact that vapes don’t possess real tobacco or other harmful ingredients that is found in cigarettes is something that we already know. Rather, Vapes use liquid solvent containing nicotine known as e-juice.
4 basic ingredients make up the solution which are water, nicotine, flavorings and a propylene glycol or vegetable glycerine base.
As a base for the nicotine and flavors, propylene glycol (PG) is used. Found in numerous food eaten, PG is commonly utilized as a food preservative. It is also sometimes used in certain medicines.
Vegetable glycerine is another compound which serves as a bearer for the nicotine and flavors in e-juice. Occasionally contrived from coconut and palm oil, VG is a plant established compound. Just like PG, VG as well is commonly used as a preservative in food. Flavorings which are food based are included to conceive a particular palate. On the topic of nicotine, the majority of trademarks extend 0mg to 24mg of nicotine in their juices.
PG is the most prevalent e-juice derivative as the compound is scentless and zestless which in turn does not affect the e-liquid taste. Closer to a cigarette, PG offers a more potent throat hit. However, it may also leave your esophagus dry. Compared to VG, PG possesses a delicate texture and conceives lighter vape clouds. It is important to note that if vaping PG gives you an allergic response such as an itching sensation in your esophagus, shift to VG.
VG on the other hand provides a dense consistency in its compound and offers a dense vape cloud. Compared to PG, VG won’t annoy your esophagus as much as PG and it offers a frail and gentle throat hit. As it possesses a denser base, VG may leave you producing more phlegm. VG consists of a modest sweet flavor and can cover e-liquid flavors. Compared to PG, VG has received much lesser reports of allergic responses from vapers.
A combination of PG and VG is typically our preference when it comes to e-juice bases. Experimenting with different vape trademarks will allow you to determine the kind of components which suits you. Larger accumulation of VG allows more vapor. PG allows a feel closer to the drag of a cigarette.
Sometimes, users choose to go organic. Going organic means using juices that are natural and certified as organic and unartificial. The base is either made up of VG or ethyl alcohol, antagonistic to PG. Most juices are sold in tiny bottles.
That marks the end of this entry! Stay tuned for our upcoming articles!
